Good to know

How do I set it off?
Press the SOS button, or pull the latch at the top where the key ring attaches. The 130 dB siren starts right away and can run for up to 1.5 hours on a full charge.
How do I turn it off?
Press the SOS button again to stop the siren. If you set it off with the pull latch, push the latch back in.
How loud is 130 dB?
Very loud. It's in the range of a siren heard up close, which is enough to make people nearby turn and look.
How do I charge it?
Plug it in with the included USB-C cable. A full charge takes about 2 hours, and there are no batteries to replace.
Does it have a light?
Yes. The frosted end is an LED light, switched on with the small button on the side. It shines steadily for about 2 hours or flashes for about 5 hours on a full charge.
Can I mix colors in a 2- or 3-pack?
Yes. Pick a different color for each alarm when you choose your pack.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on orders of R350 or more, which includes every 2-pack and 3-pack. A single alarm ships for R65. Orders arrive in 7 to 10 business days.
What's your return policy?
Faulty? If your alarm arrives faulty or stops working within 30 days, send us a short video showing the problem and we'll ship a replacement for free. After that, faulty goods are still covered for 6 months under the Consumer Protection Act.

Changed your mind? You can cancel within 7 days of receiving your order. Send the alarm back unused in its box and we'll refund what you paid for it; you cover the return postage. Full policy

No. Hera is designed to draw attention so other people notice. In an emergency, call 10111 for the police, or 112 from a cellphone.
